Surrounded by vineyards and close to the beaches, this Pugliese villa with swimming pool is one of the most beautiful accommodations for discovering the region considered by many people as the most tourists friendly of Italy.
When the famous Italian racing driver Cesare Fiorio traveled for the first time to Puglia, this untouched corner of southern Italy left a long-lasting memory in him. Far away from the stress of everyday life, surrounded by the magic of this fascinating landscape: this is exactly where Cesare Fiorio decided to spend his life after retiring from his long-time racing career.
Today he devotes his passion to the organic cultivation of olives, fruit trees, vegetables and the production of an award-winning olive oil, and wine. All this on the 27 hectares plot of land that hosts the beautiful and lovingly restored Masseria. Here free-range chickens are let to roam in the country. Some varieties of vegetables and fruits are processed to create genuine local products such as tomato sauce and jams. The in-house irrigation system brings water to nut-trees, almond trees, caper, chick-pea and lentil plants. The Masseria also produces the flour used for the production of a pasta typical of this area: Orecchiette Pugliesi. If you want to bring back home some of the traditional products of the Masseria, there’s a small shop where you’ll be able to choose from a fine selection.
The whole 27 hectares plot is filled with incredible trekking routes, where you can enjoy a relaxing walk, far away from all the traffic and the noise, right in the midst of nature, surrounded by olive groves. The ones of you who like dancing might also enjoy taking lessons on the traditional local folk dance, la Pizzica. Culinary events, such as cooking classes on the preparation of different types of bread or homemade pasta are available as well.
One of the highlights of the Masseria is surely its Ferrari hall. There you’ll admire a exhibition of some important pieces that Cesare Fiorio has collected during his career.

You could have heard of Ceglie Messapica, on the other hand, as Puglia’s capital of gastronomy. There you’ll find a variety of award-winning restaurants surrounded by centuries-old olive groves. The strategic location of the Masseria allows you to easily reach the most beautiful towns of Puglia, which are in a radius of a few kilometers from the estate. We’re talking about the towns of Cisternino, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Locorotondo and Francavilla Fontana.
We strongly recommend to pay a visit to Torre Guaceto’s Nature Reserve, 25 minutes away from the Masseria.
